Thank you for your participation in the October 2010 Office of Information Technology (OIT) Email Satisfaction Survey. There were a total of 732 responses.
Below is a distribution of the email programs respondents reported using:
Package Apple Mail Eudora Gmail Outlook Thunderbird Webmail Other # of Users 63 98 41 216 246 38 30OIT clients are relatively happy with their email client (88% were "Satisfied" or "Very Satisfied") but that leaves some room for improvement. In particular, clients expressed more dissatisfaction with Thunderbird than any other email client.

OIT staff will be following up with individual respondents who expressed the greatest frustration with their current email package, to determine a course of action (training, documentation) which will resolve the most critical problems.
