Network & Academic Computing Services SCC Meetings - Agendas and Minutes Hello everyone, Just a reminder that our next SCC meeting is scheduled for: February SCC Meeting: Friday, February 5th 2 - 3:30 PM Room 3311 Engineering Gateway (West wing) Agenda: 1) As we agreed at our last meeting, we'll discuss applications, which may be applicable or beneficial to multiple Departments, Schools, or Units. For example, Steve Carlyle will discuss a BioScience application used to process data from Scantron scanners and produce reports on Faculty Teaching Evaluations. 2) To follow-up on a security issue raised by Dennis at our last meeting: Dennis told us that he had witnessed a product (L0Pht) which could capture NT passwords, decrypt them, and store the cracked-passwords in a text file. I have information about the product, how it 'cracks' the passwords, and how we can prevent the exploit.
