OIT Fact Sheets

Summary: The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides telephone, network, and computing services in support of research and education at UCI. OIT provides central computing services, computer laboratories, departmental and research-group support services, and campus wide technical coordination. The campus network infrastructure maintained by OIT provides connectivity on campus and to the Internet.

  3. Parking Systems - process $17 million/year (Credit card, Cash, Check, Recharge)
  4. Time Reporting System used by 8,400 employees
  5. Campus employee portal used by about 9,000 employees.
  6. Facilities Demand Maintenance and Service Desk – $2.7 million/year processed; 4000 requests and work orders per month
  7. UCI Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence - decision support/analytics – 45,000 user ad-hoc queries/day; 1,088,894 total queries in July, 2013
