Summary: Computer viruses are an ongoing problem across the Internet. NACS will share information about viruses that are causing significant problems at UCI, as well as point you to virus protection resources.

E-mail Virus Scanning

NACS now scans incoming e-mail for viruses and cleans up infected messages. This protection is available only to messages sent to @UCI.EDU addresses.

With new viruses being released every day, it's wise to install and update anti-virus software on your computer. There are several effective anti-virus programs on the market and used at UCI.
