Summary: SHI is the UC systemwide contract software reseller. Ref: 960/OP/226
SHI (Software House International) offers following the software agreements for the University of California.
Effective March 12, 2008, SHI handles the University of California agreements for the following vendors:
- Microsoft (Select program and Campus Software Subscriptions - UC-MCCA)
- Adobe
- FileMaker
- Symantec Additional vendors may be added in the future.
SHI offers manyt other products, including VMWare and McAfee anti-virus solutions.

Ordering Guide for the UC System
- Authorized Users – All UC System Departments within the State of California.
- Delivery Orders – The scope of this effort is nationwide. Delivery requirements will be stipulated on Delivery Orders.
- Ordering Methods – Orders are placed directly with SHI in accordance with SHIPS ordering procedures. Orders can be placed electronically, via SHIPS, paper or facsimile. These options are subject to UCI local policies.
