Stay Connected
Gain access to an array of resources and discounts after you graduate through the UCI Alumni Association.
Setup your Alumni email
Students who graduate from UCI qualify to keep an Email connection to UCI. To sign up for the Alumni email service please visit the Alumni Email page.
Backup your data
When you are no longer a UCI student, whether you graduate, transfer or leave for other reasons, your UCInetID will lose access to many services after about 1 year. Be sure to backup any data that you want to keep, including old emails, on your personal computers.
- The easiest way to backup your email is to use one of our supported email clients on your personal computer and copy all mail from the OIT or Gmail servers to folders stored locally on your computer. For more information and detailed instructions, please see this article on backing up your email.
Uninstall software
If you installed any software from OIT during your time at UCI, please make sure to uninstall it if the license requires it. SAS for example, is only available for your use while you are enrolled at UCI. Helping OIT comply with its license agreements makes sure we can continue to make software available to future students.
